NATIONAL CHAMPION. The measurements on the sign are about 40 years' old. It's growing on the banks of the Allyn river in a low lying fertile area with plenty of water and has continued to grow vigorously over its life. The tree is in magnificent condition with no damage whatever to the top of tree unlike other big trees in the area which have suffered a lot of damage over the years. |
